April 19, 2017 – WEST HARTFORD, CT – Companions for Living, a specialized memory and home care company for older adults based in West Hartford since 2005 held a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday April 18 for its new 3,400 square-foot home office to be built at 312 North Main Street in West Hartford. The two-story colonial building designed by Kemper Associates and being constructed by J. Matthew Group will complement the residential character of the Bishop’s Corner neighborhood, as well as the personalized home care business of Companions for Living. Julianne Roth, founder and president of Companions for Living, was joined by her staff at the groundbreaking along with business colleagues and local officials, including State Senator Beth Bye, State Representative Derek Slap, and West Hartford Mayor Shari Cantor. The new building is expected to be completed and open for business by the end of 2017.
“I’m excited to be starting the next chapter in the success story of Companions for Living right here in my hometown of West Hartford,” said Julianne Roth, CFL President. “Our new building is designed to be a home for the business, as well as to make our clients, colleagues and neighbors feel at home here. The combination of a classic New England house design and contemporary office amenities reflects our business philosophy of ‘living younger, longer,’” Roth added.
Companions for Living is the first home care company in Greater Hartford with caregivers certified to provide specialized memory support services for older adults and their families.
