Companions for Living Donates Food and PPE to West Hartford Families and First-Responders
April 13, 2020 – WEST HARTFORD, CT – Companions for Living, a home care company for older adults based in West Hartford, is reaching out to fulfill community needs during the COVID-19 crisis, while taking extra precautions to keep its clients and caregivers safe at home. CFL started a donation drive on Friday, April 10 for the West Hartford Food Pantry by collecting non-perishable food items that can be dropped off on the front porch of its 312 North Main Street office. On Tuesday, April 14, CFL is expected to receive delivery of a long-awaited order of N95 protective masks for its caregivers, and plans to donate 250 of these masks to the West Hartford Fire and Police Departments.
“Our company operates on three core values: compassion that connects; driven to make a difference; and reliable rain or shine,” says Julianne Roth, founder and president of Companions for Living. “We also share these values in serving our broader community, especially in times of need like we’re all experiencing now during the Coronavirus pandemic.”
