Scheduling Coordinator

The individual in this position would be an integral part the staff of Companions for Living and will be responsible on several different levels for the success of the company.  S/he must be strategic; detail oriented, able to multi-task and communicate effectively with field staff, clients and the general public.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Add new clients to the schedule and manage all schedule changes
  • Identify, collaborate and place appropriate staff in assignments
  • Make field visits to clients and caregivers to ensure satisfaction
  • Manage staff time off requests
  • Monitor the “Dash Board” and follow up as necessary with field staff and clients
  • Provide caregiver coaching and counseling as necessary
  • Confirm schedules with caregiving staff
  • Create and monitor reports
  • Review payroll and billing reports to ensure accuracy
  • Answer incoming calls and resolve issues
  • Maintain client data
  • Participate on the on-call team for evening/weekend coverage on a rotational basis
  • Give input and feedback on strategic company issues
  • Manage special projects and other items as they arise
  • Fill in as a caregiver on an occasional basis if needed

  • Proficient computer skills
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of one year experience in Home or Home Health Care scheduling is required
